30 HOURS EXTENDED ENTITLEMENT CUT-OFF DATES

It has come to our attention that there is some confusion about the cut off dates for the Summer Term.

It is important that parents wishing to take up a 30 hours extended entitlement place ensure they get a 30 hours code from HMRC by 31 MARCH 2019 DEADLINE.

From a financial and HMRC perspective, Summer Term runs from 1ST APRIL TO 31ST AUGUST, even though in Derbyshire Summer Term starts 29TH APRIL 2019.

Children whose third birthday falls after 31 March will not be eligible to take up their free 30 hours childcare entitlement until September.

This cut-off date will also apply to children accessing the universal 15 hours only.

Kind regards

Amanda
